The current industry has lost the plot (pun intended). These days, it panders to its viewers when it should be catering to them. Additionally, they have no interest in bringing on new and fresh talent; they want to reuse established stars because they know it’ll bring them a profit. Nor do they appear to know what to do in the face of a growing AI industry. Any corporate officer knows you exploit your strengths, and what the human film industry has that AI doesn’t is the human connection. With Hollywood holding up actors and actresses with plastic faces and robotic personalities, and falling back on cheap CGI instead of props and makeup meticulously crafted by hand, they are quickly crumbling.
JD Chronicles doesn't seek to hire established stars who don’t appear to have a thought in their heads; we want to make a new generation of stars to whom the public can relate and adore. There is a slew of smart and talented individuals out there with dreams and aspirations to make a career creating inspiring and influential stories for the world to devour. These hungry artists have been largely ignored and dismissed for too long, thanks to Hollywood nepotism. Additionally, any successful independent film-maker with an alluring personality has been suppressed and hidden from producers. JD Chronicles longs to hire them on. We believe that with one funded film or season, we will make the profit necessary to grow, and create openings for not only aspiring actors, but editors, set designers, makeup artists, etc. With a little help, a lot of heart and hard work, the willingness to provide on-the-job training, and the ability to adapt to a world of AI, we will bring on a new, relatable film industry which will cater to what audiences want to see in their entertainment.
We'll Grow with Black Valkyrie Studios
While JD Chronicles Productions works on its six projects, Black Valkyrie Studios will be born.

Stars are manifesting, new directors are making names for themselves, unknown makeup artists are becoming renowned. But what about the writers? The authors? The aspiring screenwriters? What about the indie producers who also want to start their own production companies? Well, that's where Black Valkyrie Studios comes in.
​
After working from the ground up with a few helping hands, JD Buchmiller wants to pay it forward. Black Valkyrie Studios will be the entity to assist other writers and aspiring producers to create their own work. We will be listening to the audience so that we remain up to date on what they want to see next, and use this information to review Spec Scripts and provide feedback. This is how we will find the hidden jewels to use for future content, while also providing writers the opportunity to see their work come to life, and perhaps even be a part of a Writers’ Room. Then, Black Valkyrie will enthusiastically give aspiring producers and their teams those scripts, as well as any funding they need to establish themselves in the industry.

Together, these two companies will spawn a new, based entertainment industry, displaying in a visual medium the stories audiences actually want stream. We will have a team surfing the web, listening to what the public wants, what people like, what they want to see, and we will take it all to heart to write and produce those very stories.
​
At the same time, we will grow careers and take care of our people, with the understanding that these companies are nothing without the people working for them. JD Chronicles Productions and Black Valkyrie Studios will be team entities with one hand washing the other. Our employees are individuals with families, dreams, futures. We will value them, and we vow to treat them and their families like our family.
